Вместе с Неистовым Конем [ Crazy Horse] возглавлял индейских воинов в сражении с Бейкером [ Baker Fight] (1872), участвовал в битве на р. Литл-Бигхорн [ Little Bighorn, Battle of the; Custer's Last Stand] (1876), в которой американцы потеряли 256 человек убитыми. Вскоре после поражения сиу в 1881 поселился в резервации Стэндинг-Рок [ Standing Rock Reservation] в Северной Дакоте, выступал в шоу "Дикий Запад" [ Wild West Show]. Принял участие в движении за сохранение Пляски духа [ Ghost Dance], которое закончилось бойней у ручья Вундед-Ни [ Wounded Knee Massacre].
